Julia Linder is a master student in political science with a specialisation in security and crisis management at the Swedish Defence University. She currently works as a research assistant at the Swedish Institute of International Affairs.

Julia holds a master’s degree in political science with a specialisation in security and crisis management from the Swedish Defence University. Most recently, Julia completed a traineeship with the European Parliament’s DG EXPO, External Policies Analysis adn Support Unit – Security and Defence. Before starting her master’s studies, Julia worked for the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs with international trade and EU Single Market policy and with the Swedish Presidency of the European Council in 2023. Julia has also worked as a teaching assistant at Stockholm University in micro- and macroeconomics. Her research interests include EU crisis management policies and capacities.
